I have a 1996 Mercury 25. Great running little motor that I replaced the impeller and thrust washers last year and after it ran for a minute or so had a good stream of water. My in laws were using the motor and noticed it was not spraying water and I thought they had not ran it long enough as it is usually slow to spray water but none the less I went ahead and replaced with a new water pump kit new everything and made sure impeller spins in correct direction checked for dirt dobbers and the whole deal and now it sprays zero water. I have sprayed water up the water tube and it does not come out of thermostat hole and I will be spraying air in it today just to make sure it is not clogged in powerhead somewhere but if anyone has any suggestions please let me know as I am about out of ideas.

You a blockage somewhere, if your lucky you will not need to remove the powerhead to find it. You can try compressed air to see if it will break apart, but water should come out thermostat housing (with thermostat removed) if you apply direct water pressure (with hose).Regards
