Bigfoot starting problem, need help

I will turn the key switch on and the motor won't turn over. Have replqaced the starter solenoid. If I use the pull rope it starts. Sometimes when I turn the switch the engine will start and sometimes not. Connections are tight and clean,. battery is good. Can anyone give me an idea of what the problem is and what I need to do to fix it? I don't think it is the ignition switch. Thanks in advance.
