1997 225hp power trim motor help.

I looking to troubleshoot/replace a power trim motor on my outboard. I have very little experience in this field. When I try to trim my motor up or down I only hear a click without any actual motor movement.

Does anyone know how I can trouble shoot this problem to find out if its a electrical, motor, or solenoid issue?

If it is the motor how difficult of a repair is this?

With a test light check for voltage at green and blue wire at solenoid, if ok check for voltage coming out of solenoid to trim motor.

-firstly U must makesure battery is fresh enough
-scondly trough my expereance, U are having relay failure. to test it U can connect directly blue or green wire to power souce, if there any movement (up or down),then change both relay. If not U are having nightmare because PTT motor fail. It will cost U alot of money dude.....
