I was out in the Boat last weekend, and first thing in the morning she started right up. We pulled out, hit the bait receiver, got gas and headed out of the harbor. We fished a few areas with a drift, and moved around a little.
The Swells started picking up, and coupled with the wind, we were rockin pretty good. All of a sudden the engine became a bit more difficult to start. It sounded like it was flooded. After a few tries, she did finally turn over and ran strong, but continued like this for the next 2 times we stopped.
We then went back into the harbor where its a bit more calm, and did a couple of drifts, without any proplem starting the motor.
Could the Motor be allowing fuel to slosh in with the Rocking around?
The motor is a 1979 Mercury 200V Outboard.
