i have a 2000 xr6 on my 01 triton an have burned over half a tank of fuel with no oil usage. i have kept a close eye on my oil tank and it has not moved? should i have noticed it go down by now or is this motor very efficient on oil consumption. no alarms or anthing have gone off. thanks

At full throttle it should use about a gallon of oil to 50 gallons of gas, at lower speeds uses lot less.
IF ANY DOUBT put a 50:1 oil mix in gas until you are sure oil injection is working properly.Regards

Yes you can mix your fuel, the only reprocussions would be if it does double oil you may need to change spark plugs more often.Regards

Mercury doesn't offer a conversion kit.Regards

You probably could remove the oil pump, gear and components, then block the openings. However I have never attempted the conversion so cannot comment on the success.Regards
