25 2 stroke carb issues

just bought brand new 2000 25 2 stroke, had been installed started and never ran, sat 10+ years inside...put it on and started, ran only on 1 cyl, pulled carb, cleaned it all out, replaced gasket and ran ok, ran one weekend maybe 30 mins, ran it out of gas before putting away(with alcohol fuel seems to help when left sitting) ran the weekend, now won't idle, sputters coming on plane but runs fine mid to WOT...it will idle best with adj screw all the way in and you can see fuel in the water...so now going to pull carb again, but what do you think need to do/look for ? thanks for any help...Rob

Sounds like you need to repair the carburetor again. Varify all your air/fuel passages are clear.
