2000 175 EFI Mercury. Runs fine, then seems one or two cylinders not firing when I crank it up after making a run. Shouldn't be having time to load up and foul a plug. Wondering if coil could be the issue? Only other hint I have is an occasional beep from the "oil alarm". Very random. Checked oil tank under cowling and it's full. I just ordered a new float in case the old is saturated.
For the first time, the other day, the motor felt as if someone briefly grabbed the flywheel then continued as if nothing happened. Later, once on plane, it bogged down until I put it in neutral, reved engine a couple of times, then it took off fine. I'm also going to replace plugs, just in case. Any thoughts?
Question, Is there a high speed AND a low speed stator or are they all together?
