2nd Fuel Filter or other?

115 hp 2002 model #1115412ZD What is the inline filter for that is located on the starboard side of motor behind oil tank reservoir? The port side inline filter is for fuel. can't figure what this "other" filter is for and service manual doesn't ID? I changed it out for precaution, but found no evidence of gas in it. Part was only listed as "filter". thanks in advance

It's a filter going to accelerator pump.
