  • Water in Oil of 9.9 fourstroke 1995

Hello i'm new on this forum and i'm from Holland so sorry for my bad english.

I've got water in the Oil of my 9.9 mercury fourstroke. I have checked out the cylinderhead gasket, and couldn't find (visual) trails of damage that caused the problem.
Also looked if the cylinderhead is correctly straigth and not dammaged by overheating. The cylinderhead is correctly straight.
I couldn't also find (little)cracks in the cylinderblock by winterdamage (freezing) so that it could be possible if water can comes to the oil.

So now i've build out the complete engine of the outboard, and i was hoping that the cylinder gasket had that visual damage to make sure that is for 100% the problem. but onfortenutly it looked not badly damaged (

So my question is, what can be left?, in my opinion i can't find the isseu that directly leads to the water in Oil problem..

Thanks and if someone recognize this please send me mail or post on this topics..

    Greetings Clarence from Holland.

    Check the exhaust plate gasket.
