merc 150 starting problems.

my 2005 merc 150 won't start after i first start it and run for a little. when its warm weather. i have to crank several times and acts flooded. please help.

what is your serial number? Could be vapor locking or ignition system.

There is a serial number. It is located on the mounting bracket where it mounts to the transom of the boat. It is also located on a freeze plug on the engine block.

Thats a carb model, check the fuel primer is working correctly, may need to remove and clean carbs.

Not the fuel primer on the engine, this is the choke system.
