30 Jet Tiller to Remote

I would like to convert motor with tiller to remote controls. The motor is a 1997 Mercury 40/30 Jet 2-stroke. Was wondering if there was a conversion kit or what parts would be needed to make the conversion? Motor already has electric start. I know I would need some kind of control box with cables but didnt' know which one or how they hooked up. Thanks.

You will require a control box, harness and control cables. There are no remote attaching kits available. This would lead me to believe one is not required.

So then I may be able to just connect the control cables to the motor without any other parts? I could post a picture of the current setup if that would help tell if I need any other parts.
