Merc on ears

Hi all,

I have a 1999 50hp 2stroke. Last year I ran into a rock and had the gear housing repaired. By the time it was ready it was to late to put in the water. Last week I put it on ears in the driveway. The motor had a good telltale stream but it appeared as though an awful lot of water was coming out of the prop/exhaust as well as a small hole in front of the leg near the speedo pick up assembly as well as the slats at the back just above the cav plate. So - is this normal??

Sorry everyone, I have my old motor on the brain, This motor is the 1999 60hp. Everything else is correct in the original post.

Yes that is normal the water exits through exhaust and will come out of prop and lower housing.
