power pacs or switch box question

im getting power to into the box using a tester. should i be able to get power coming out of the box that in the wires that send power to the distibutor. first boat dont no anything about them.

No you probably have the Thunderbolt ignition which can be tricky to troubleshoot you need to get a factory Mercury service manual to troubleshoot ignition .
