Engine assembly questions

I have an 1993 225 that I am putting back together that needed head gaskets, thermostats, etc.. A friend that worked for Mercury Marine (engineer) suggested I use the same assembly coating the factory uses when they assemble the engines. He said it prevents corrosion on the head bolts, etc.. I'd ask him but he's on a cruise and I want to get back on the water [img]smile.gif[/img]
